What is Admin Avenues?

Admin Avenues is Australia’s leading events and community platform for admin and office professionals. We connect, celebrate, and empower the Australian admin profession through high-impact events, industry advocacy, career development, and bold conversations – all designed by admins, for admins.

Who is Admin Avenues for?

If you work in administration – whether you’re an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Team Coordinator, Virtual Assistant, or hold any of the 160+ admin titles – Admin Avenues is your community. We welcome all career stages, from newcomers to seasoned professionals.

What kind of events do you run?

From national conferences and awards nights to intimate networking meetups, panel discussions, and training sessions – our events are designed to inspire, connect, and elevate. We’re redefining what it means to show up for the admin profession.

Do I have to be a member to attend events?

No – many of our events are open to the broader admin community, and we often collab with other admin community groups – especially the Australian Institute of Office Professionals (AIOP). Members receive discounted access, early invites, exclusive sessions, and more. Becoming a member also helps support our mission to uplift the profession nationwide.

Why was Admin Avenues created?

Founded by former Executive Assistant Candice Burningham, Admin Avenues was built to challenge outdated perceptions, advocate for fair recognition and pay, and create meaningful opportunities for connection and career growth. We believe admin work is powerful, profitable, and worth celebrating.

How is Admin Avenues different from traditional admin associations?

While traditional associations like AIOP focus on education, Admin Avenues focuses on connection, advocacy, and events. We are purpose-built for Australia’s admin professionals.

How can I get involved?
