How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne
The City Safety, Security and Amenity (CSSA) Branch works with partners and stakeholders to maximise safety, security and amenity in the public realm, and help activate the city and economic vitality. Through application of the Activities Local Law, the Branch works closely with agencies that provide services to people who are homeless or vulnerable to ensure the wellbeing and needs of those living on the streets are addressed while maintaining amenity for others using the public realm.
The Executive Assistant contributes to the objectives of the branch by providing office coordination and support. They will provide high level administrative and secretarial support to the Director City Safety, Security and Amenity. The Executive Assistant’s role is to enhance the effectiveness of the Director and assist in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the branch through a range of business support and office management activities.
The Executive Assistant will also ensure that the office of the branch is managed and presented in a professional, efficient, confidential, tactful and helpful manner.
