Accounts Receivable Team Lead Full Time Temporary

Start Date: ASAP,but can accommodate a January start.
End date: 30/6/24 initially, however there is scope that this role will either be extended or go permanent directly with the organisation.
Salary: $50-55 per hour (dependent on the candidate’s experience) + Super
Location: Flexible working arrangements but a minimum of 2 days a week at Sydney Olympic Park.

Quay Appointments are currently seeking an experienced and competent Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join a well-established government organisation to contribute to the effective operation of the Accounts Receivable function and also be responsible for the supervision of 1-2 contractors.
 
 
Key Responsibilities of this Role:

• Supervise the Accounts Receivable Officers
• Provide hands on support with any overflow of work
• Work closely with your colleagues in the team responsible for allocations, reconciliation and other administrative receivables functions
• Liaise with other internal teams within the organisation
• Daily and Month-End Reconciliations
• Support your Manager and the business with any ad hoc projects as they arise with the continued growth of the business

Essential Requirements:

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience
• Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Understanding of vendor / customer management
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (at least intermediate level)
• General Ledger reconciliation experience including month end close activities.
• The ability to create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders

 
 
Desirable

• Experience leading and managing a team is highly advantageous.
• Accounts Payable experience
• SAP S4Hana experience
• Debt collection experience
